We have 3 "kids" - a 6 year old Torbe female cat named Maddie (she's my baby, the husband isn't quite too sure about her yet), a 4 year old male Golden Retriever named Wrigley (the love of my life until John) and our newest a 14 week old female Black Lab mix named Lacey who is a hoot and soo much fun. I am crazy in love with my whole family!
We moved in together on December, 21, 2012 into my in-laws 2nd house in Atlantic Beach, Florida 5 blocks from the beach with my brother-in-law - What an AMAZING Christmas Present after living in 2 different states, 5.5 hours apart for 16 months (my car knows the trip to Charlotte without me driving I swear)! Surprisingly none of our crazy habits really drove us too crazy! :)
On June 29th we finally moved to a place in Jacksonville where we could be alone, a rented house, and an awesome one at that! The shower is HUGE and has 2 shower heads - holy cow awesome! It has a gourmet kitchen too and I love to cook so this is kinda fabulous. I miss the beach being around the corner already but there are so many great perks at our new place that I'm really looking forward to this year! Hey the beach is only 15ish minutes away now, definitely doable :)
I started this blog to document this new chapter in our lives. Great recipes I find, home projects we tackle, the good and the bad, restaurant reviews and really anything that we find interesting. We are huge sports fans, especially football and its almost the fall so get ready for that too. I hope for this to be a little bit of everything.
